VIEW ITEMSNEW COVENANT CENTER'S 9TH ANNUAL HARVEST TABLE
We are immensely grateful to our 240 attendees and to those individuals who participated in our celebration of Harvest Table, as well as our online silent auction. We all enjoyed a wonderful event and a successful one, too.
Over $120,000 was raised as guests enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres in our Harvest Marketplace, the chance to bid on 70 silent auction items and a Call to Generosity.
In recognition of New Covenant's 41 years of feeding the hungry and the homeless, we honored four of New Covenant Center's longtime distributors and providers of food for both out Café and Food Pantry: The Connecticut Food Bank, The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, Food Rescue US and Trader Joe's of Stamford and Darien. Another highlight of the evening was former New Covenant Center client and now Volunteer Tamika Hurse sharing her story with our guests at the Italian Center.
Throughout the evening, we paid tribute to the thousands of volunteers who have served the hungry in our Center…including over 50 Youth Groups. Three generations of volunteers have helped us serve over 600,000 meals this past year in our Café and Food Pantry.
Additionally, there was a new video on how New Covenant helps those most in need.
Once again, many thanks to those who supported our mission by attending Harvest Table!
